Yolanda Davis

Yolanda JoAn Davis was carried into the arms of her Lord Jesus February 10, 2017 in Plano, TX. She was born the daughter of Rudy and Wilma Duffie (Deatherage) Mallonee in Yuba City, California on March 7, 1945. They moved to Alaska in 1951. She accepted Jesus Christ as her Saviour as a young girl at Kenai Bible Chapel and dedicated her life to Him. She graduated from West High School in June 1963 and married Larry Lon Davis on June 28 in Anchorage, Alaska. She was a wonderful daughter, sister, wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, inspirational artist, selfless homemaker and loyal friend. JoAn was a faithful member of Bull Creek Cowboy Church and also a longtime member of the Greenville Art League.

Those left to cherish her memory include husband, Larry Davis of Greenville, TX; mother, Duffie Mallonee, of Wasilla, AK; brother, Rudy Mallonee, of Wasilla, AK; sons, Larry Wayne and wife Maureen, of Littleton CO, Collin and wife, Galina, of Dallas, TX, Jared and wife, Kendra, of Anna, TX; daughters, Christie Pettibon and husband, Patrick, of McKinney, TX, Holly Steele and husband, Ben of Lakeside, CA; 27 grandchildren; and one great-grandson.

Visitation will be Tue, Feb 14 from 6:00pm to 8:00pm. Services will be held Wed, Feb 15 at 2:00pm. Both will be held at Bull Creek Bible Church off of US-69 south of Lone Oak, TX. Pastor Mike Moss will be officiating and Jared Davis will deliver the eulogy. Interment to follow at Memoryland Memorial Park in Greenville, TX with Larry Wayne Davis, Collin Davis, Ben Steele, Caleb Pettibon, Travis Davis, and Landon Steele serving as pallbearers.
