Wilson Red Montgomery passed away September 16, 2010 at the age of 93. Wilson was born October 12, 1916 in Battle Axe, TX to Charles Lee Montgomery and Opal Davis Hennen. Red lived in OKC for 58 years, was an Army Veteran of WWII delivering supplies to the front line in the Philippines, he was a truck driver, working 27 years for Merrill Motor Lines and retiring from Lee Way after 10 years with them. After his retirement he enjoyed taking long walks in the park. Red was preceded in death by his parents, brother, Bazel Hennen and sister, Ensley McLemore. He is survived by his wife of 64 years, Delilah, 3 daughters, Pamela Montgomery, Patricia Montgomery and husband, Tommy Spinks and Kay Montgomery, 2 brothers, Alton Hennen and wife, Johnnie and Veldon Hennen, sister, Barbara Tilstrom and husband , Carl, 2 granddaughters, Chelsea Klein and Alyson Klein, great granddaughter, Savannah Perez and numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Graveside services will be at 10:00 AM, Wednesday, September 22, 2010 at the Memoryland Memorial Park. Visitation will be from 5 " 7 P.M., Tuesday evening at Peters Funeral Home.
