William Hayward McIntyre

William Hayward McIntyre (Mack), 83 of Greenville, Tx passed away on Saturday, December 31, 2022 at his residence.

William was born on June 4,1939 to Fred and Ellie McIntyre. He married Freida Smith on March 16, 1963 in Fayette, Alabama. William enjoyed watching Nascar, football, old western movies, and loved spending time with his family and friends.

He is survived by his daughters, Susan Tedder (Danville, AL.), Crystal Miles (Haleyville, AL.), Heather Gibson and husband Joel (Celeste, TX.); grandson’s, David McIntyre (Riverview, FL.), Neil Bonner (Caledonia, MS.), Anthony Crawford (Haleyville, AL.), Randy Stratton (Wolfe City, TX.), and Trey McIntyre (Greenville, TX.); granddaughters, Chasity Clark (Tuscaloosa, AL.), Courtney Crawford (Haleyville, AL.), Whitney Daly (Commerce, TX.) Alicia McIntyre (Gibsonton, FL.), and Starla Robertson (Celeste, TX.); brothers, WL McIntyre (Gainesville, GA.), Charles McIntyre (Jefferson, GA.), and Gerald McIntyre (Bethlehem, GA.) as well as 24 great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.

William was preceded in death by his parents, Fred McIntyre and Ellie Elliott; wife, Freida Smith McIntyre; sons, Rickey Bruce McIntyre and William Hayward McIntyre, Jr.; daughter, Melissa Jane McIntyre, brothers, Richard McIntyre, and Kenneth McIntyre, and sister, Geraldine Yarbrough.

There will be a graveside service at Fayette Memorial Gardens in Fayette, Alabama at a later date.
