William McDaniel

William Jerry McDaniel, age 65, of Greenville, passed away in the late evening hours of Sunday, July 19, 2009 at his home. He was born on December 18, 1943 in McKinney to W.N. and Oouita (Hass) McDaniel. William was employed with the City of Greenville where he worked in the Electric Department for 32 years. . He is survived by his mother of Greenville, sister, Judy Thomas of Wagoner, and several very special friends, aunts, uncles, and cousins whom he kept dear to his heart. He was also preceded in death by his one and only son in 1965 and his father in 2008. Services for Mr. McDaniel will be held at 2:00 P.M., Wednesday, July 22, 2009 at Peters Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Waymon Hass officiating. Burial will follow at Merit Cemetery with Terry Carpenter, Glen Smithey, Chris Hurst, Harold McNair, Ray Shields, Roy Trotter, and Paul Scott serving as pallbearers. Honorary Pallbearers will be Mike Cook, Thomas Cook, and James Monroe Visitation will be held Tuesday evening from 6 " 8 P.M. at the funeral home.
