Wayne Francis Humbarger of Wills Point, Texas passed away March 13, 2023 at the age of 79. He was born in Los Angeles, California on October 31, 1943 to Francis Edward Humbarger and Jennie Joyce Groendyk Humbarger. Wayne was a 1962 graduate of Godwin High School in Grand Rapids, Michigan. He was a veteran and served 2 years in the United States Army. He worked for many years for Braniff International Airways and Dalfort Aviation. He retired from the Dallas County Sheriff's Office. Wayne especially liked fishing and hunting. He was of the Baptist faith.

Wayne is survived by his current wife Nancy LaBombard Humbarger, son, Todd Humbarger and wife Jamie of Prosper, Texas, his daughter Shanda Humbarger Hatcher of Prosper, Texas, his grandchildren Gage Humbarger, Kate Humbarger, Henleigh Humbarger, Cade Hatcher, Brook Hatcher and Alek Hatcher all of Prosper, Texas.

He was preceded in death by his father, Francis Edward Humbarger and his mother, Jennie Joyce Groendyk Humbarger and his brother, Roger Harris Humbarger.
