Wanda Faye Dotson

 Wanda Dotson, age 82 of McKinney, Texas passed away on February 9th 2023 due to lung cancer. She was born February 19, 1940 in McKinney,Texas to parents Ora Belle McClain Nelson and Raymond Nelson. Wanda was a CNA for over 40 years and loved helping others and was a very giving person. She enjoyed spending time with family, cooking, gardening and shopping. She was so proud at age 55 to be a grandmother to her only granddaughter Danielle Dotson which she loved so much as well as her entire family.   

Wanda was preceded in death by her parents, her brothers Kenneth, Raymond, and Billy Nelson and her sister Mary and their spouses.       

 Those left to cherish fond memories are her significant other Kenneth Stokes, two sons Rickey and his wife Debbie and Keith Dotson,  her granddaughter Danielle and husband Cameron, her nieces, Heather,Tiffany, Kathy, and nephews Jeffrey,Dale,and Gary great nephews Kenny and their spouses, great nieces Aria, Alyssa,and Faith. And all her sisters grand children.

She loved all the family and she was loved back. She lived long blessed life and will be dearly missed.
