Wanda Colley

Wanda May Colley, 80, of Greenville, Texas passed away on Thursday, August 1, 2019 in Greenville. Wanda was born on May 1, 1939 in Wickes, Arkansas to William B. and Lois Marie (Dugger) Earp. She married Joseph Calvin Colley in Hatfield, Arkansas on January 27, 1955, he preceded her in death on March 5, 2012. They were married for 57 years. She was a devoted wife, caring mother, grandmother and great-grandmother and a hard worker. She retired from Henson Kickernick in Greenville, where she had worked for 20 years.

Wanda is survived by her daughter, Louise Cox (Kyle); son, Larry Colley (Tina); daughters, Deborah Hall (Mark), Karen Smidt (Kurt); grandchildren, Brandon Cox, Christopher Colley, Cynthia Colley, Christian Arrington, Joe Holmes, Nick Martin, Spencer Hall, Eden Hall, Jillian, Singleterry, Taylor Smith, Kristopher Smidt; 11 great-grandchildren; sisters, Marie Holley, Lois Pate, and Donna Jones.

Wanda is preceded in her death by her parents; husband; grandchild, Amber Cox; great-grandchild Elizabeth Colley; brother, William B. Earp, Jr.; sister, Lou Boots.

Visitation will be held on Saturday August 3, 2019, 6-8 PM at Peters Funeral Home. Funeral service will be held on Sunday, August 4, 2019 at 2:00 PM, at Peters Funeral Home Chapel. Graveside service will be Monday, August 5, 2019 at 2:00 PM, at Pleasant Grove Cemetery in Cove, Arkansas.
