Vernon Bryant

Vernon Harvey Bryant, 89, of Wolfe City, Texas passed away Thursday, February 14, 2019. He was born May 4, 1929 in Dallas, Texas son of Fred Gus and Opal (Abney) Bryant. Vernon was an Electrician. He served in the US Naval Reserves and was part of the IBEW Local Union 20 for 70 years. He married Norma Kathleen Bolton, on October 21, 1950 in Forney, Texas. She preceded in him death on January 6, 2019.

Those left to cherish his memory are son, Michael Bryant (Mary); daughter, Peggy S. Williams (John); son, Eddie Bryant (Debbie); grandchildren, Justin Bryant, Julie West, Curtis B. Williams, Eric Bryant, Rachel Clements; and great-grandchildren, Trinity West, Elisha West, Asher West, Caleb Williams, Sadie Williams and, Paisley Williams.

Vernon was preceded in death by his parents and siblings, Opal Faye Dorman, Alene Jasper, Rex Bryant, Mary Culpepper, and Quindell Bryant.

Visitation will be Wednesday, February 20, 2019 from 6 PM to 8 PM at Peters Funeral Home Chapel. Funeral service will be held Thursday, February 21, 2019 at 10 AM at Peters Funeral Home Chapel with Adam Williams officiating, burial will be at Grove Hill Memorial Park in Dallas at 2 PM.
