Shawnda Ford-English

Shawnda Ford-English age 48, formally of Bedford, Tx passed away on Sept 19, 2021 in Greenville, Tx. She was born in Denver, Colorado to James and Linda Ford. She was a loving wife, daughter, sister, stepdaughter, stepmother, stepsister, niece, aunt and friend. She enjoyed jet skiing, sailing, volleyball and playing pool. She loved her two cats Chaos and Psycho and her two dogs Mya and Dakota. Shawnda graduated from L.D. Bell high school in Hurst, Tx. Attended Tyler Junior College in Tyler, Tx. and Tarrant County College in Hurst Tx. She worked for Home Depot as a special services and pro sales associate for 16 years.

Shawnda is survived by her husband, Kenneth English; brother, James D. Ford and his wife Mary Ann; stepdaughters, Kenali Woods and her husband Jordan and Karamee English; aunts, Kathy Dale and her husband Bill and Rita Parker; uncles, Lex Ford and his wife Melissa and Tommy Ford and his wife Yvonne; step-aunt, Lynn Haiar and her husband Paul; stepsisters, Debbie and Donna Mead; lifelong friend, Jennifer Young and her husband John and many other extended family members and numerous friends who will miss her greatly.

She was preceded in death by her mother, Linda Ford; father, James Ford; stepmother, Barbara Ford; brother, Scott Ford; uncles, Terry Ford and Raymond Parker.

Memorial service will be held at a later date. Because of her love for animals, her husband asks in lieu of flowers, donations be made to ASCPA or your local animal shelter in Shawnda’s memory.
