Sargent Jackson

Sargent Jackson, age 60, of Greenville, passed away in the early morning hours of Friday, February 20, 2009 at UT Southwestern St. Paul Hospital in Dallas. Mr. Jackson was born in Wisner, Louisiana on September 21, 1948 to Joe Nathan and Lucille Butcher Jackson. They precede him in death. He retired from L-3 Communications and was a member of the Kingdom Hall in Greenville. Mr. Jackson is survived by his children, Stephanie Michaele Jackson of London, England, and Rodney Wayne Jackson of San Francisco, California; brothers, Oliver Smith, Robert Jackson, and wife Verlynn, and Wilbert Jackson, Abraham Jackson, and wife Sharon, all of Minneapolis, Minnesota, and John Wesley Jackson, of Houston, Texas; sisters, Julia Hill, and Dorothy Heckard, both of Minneapolis, Minnesota, Marilyn Goodwin, and husband Eddie Ray, of Shreveport, Louisiana, and Margaret Louise Harris and Gayle Jannette Jackson, both of Wisner, Louisiana. Mr. Jackson was also preceded in death by one brother, Joe Jackson, Jr.
