Rosa Delgado Bennett passed away Monday, January 9, 2017 at her home in Greenville. A memorial service will be held 11:00am, Saturday, January 14th at the Funeral Home.
Rosa was born in Silao Guanajuato, Mexico on September 4, 1950 to Loreto Delgado and Maria D. Blancarte. She was married to Ed Bennett who preceded her in death.She was a member of Living Word United Pentecostal Church. She loved to walk. She was silly with a contagious laugh. You never knew what funny thing she might say or do. She was the hardest working woman we've ever known. Everything she did was for her family that she loved dearly. She was always helping others. She was selfless, humble and loved unconditionally. She had great faith and a beautiful soul. Fly high our precious angel!
Those left to cherish her memory are daughters, Patricia Shipman and husband Kevin, of Tom Bean, Diana O. Kimberlin, of Sherman, Mary Kimberlin, of Garland; son, Michael Mata, of Greenville; sisters, Bertha Mata, Lina Delgado, Marguarite Martinez, Martha Flores; brothers, Jorge Delgado, Loreto Delgado, Porfirio Delgado; grandchildren, Joey Palomares, Olivia Palomares, Victoria Alvarez , Sara Alvarez, Chassidy Shipman, Nathan Shipman, Daniel Atherton, Danielle Atherton, David Atherton, Michael Mata; and ten great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents and brother, Jesus.
