Ronnie Lathrop

Ronnie Joe Lathrop, age 61, of Commerce, passed in the evening hours of Thursday, March 10, 2011 in Campbell. He was born on February 25, 1950 in Texas City, Texas to Joe Willis and Catherine Oleta (Nunn) Lathrop, they preceded him in death. Ronnie worked as an electrician with Texas Electric for 15 years. He married his wife Mae on September 12, 2002 in Commerce, she survives. Ronnie never met a stranger and loved to tell jokes. In his free time he loved to fish but his favorite time was spent with his family. Ronnie is also survived by one daughter, Rhonda Close of Bath, Maine; one son, Robert Dale Early of Commerce; one grandson, Richard Close; two brothers, Dell Jackson, and wife Bertha, of Buffalo, TX and John King of Tomball, TX; two sisters, Edith Mosely, and husband Roy, of West, TX and Paula Tripple, and husband Jim, of the Woodlands, TX; and by numerous nieces, nephews, and other relatives. A memorial service will be held Saturday, March 19, 2011 at 2:00 P.M at Parker Cemetery in Buffalo, TX with Pastor Lloyd Lane officiating.
