Robert Wayne Kinzey, a beloved soul known for his dedication to electrical work and kind-hearted nature, bid farewell to this world on June 21, 2024, in Royse City, Texas. Born on July 25, 1959, in Progue, OK, Robert's journey was one filled with love, generosity, and unwavering commitment.
Robert's passion for the field of electrical engineering shone brightly throughout his career at SMU - Electrical control. His expertise was not only evident in his professional endeavors but also in the way he selflessly offered assistance to anyone he held dear. Described as the type who would go above and beyond for those he cared about, Robert's legacy of kindness and compassion will forever be cherished by all who knew him.
Aside from his professional pursuits, Robert found solace and joy in various hobbies and interests such as computers, cameras, firearms, and exploring family history. These passions not only brought him personal fulfillment but also served as avenues for connection with his loved ones.
In his passing, Robert leaves behind a constellation of grieving hearts intertwined with memories of shared laughter and moments of solace. Among those mourning his departure are his son; Joseph Lee Kinzey, daughter; Niki Patricia Kinzey, son; Daniel Robert Kinzey, daughter Bridgett Boyle, sister; Gale Mitchell, nephew; Jason Ferrebee and his wife Elizabeth Ferrebee, niece; Selena Ferrebee Willis and her husband Gary Willis.
In addition to immediate family members grappling with the loss of a guiding light in their lives, Robert is survived by ex-brother-in-law Charles Ferrebee and aunt Diane Kinzey. Together, they find comfort in the knowledge that Robert's memory will forever burn bright in their hearts and minds.
As we come together to remember the life of Robert Wayne Kinzey - a devoted family man and a skilled professional - let us cherish the legacy of love and kindness he leaves behind. A celebration of life will be held, Saturday, August 10, 2024 at 303 Barton St. Royse City, TX 75189 at 1pm to 3pm. The event will be a come and go event, for anyone to pay their respects.
