Renda Pfaff, a beloved wife, mother, sister, and friend, passed away on February 1, 2025, at the age of 76. Born on November 22, 1948, Renda was a vibrant spirit who touched the lives of everyone she met with her bubbly personality and kind heart.

She leaves behind her devoted husband, Albert Pfaff, with whom she shared ten cherished years in Abilene, Texas. Renda's family also includes her stepson, Joseph Pfaff and his wife Bree of Denver, Colorado. Her warm spirit will live on through her grandchildren, Randi Burba and her husband Cameron of Belton, and her grandson Emmitt Phaff of Denver, Colorado. Renda was also a proud great-grandmother to Rainie Olivia and Crosslynn Dutcher, who brought endless joy to her life. In addition, she is survived by her loving brother Larry Rowan and his wife Betty of Mesquite, Texas, as well as her cherished nieces and nephew: Robin Brantley and her husband Jason of Rowlett, Texas, Radonna Tacker and her husband Kevin of Edgewood, Texas, and Keith Rowan and his wife Jennifer of Bristol, Texas.

Her journey was adorned with many passions and memories. Renda treasured shopping excursions, and spent hours pampering herself with hair, nail treatments, and pedicures. Her hands found joy in sewing, and it brought her happiness to cut her neighbors' hair from time to time, reflecting her caring nature and desire to help others. Renda pursued education in beauty and real estate, showcasing her zest for learning and self-improvement. Truly, she embodied a vibrant spirit that drew people in, with an easygoing charm that made her a friend to many.

Renda often reminisced about road trips with her beloved husband in his truck, traveling to enchanting destinations like Florida, Disney World, and New Orleans. These journeys not only highlighted her adventurous spirit but also showcased her love for creating memories with those she held dear.

Among her proudest accomplishments was selling her home and moving to Abilene, Texas, where she embraced a new beginning by moving into her dream home. She battled through challenges in life, including the loss of her first husband, Tommy Burgess, her father Hugh Rowan, her mother Hazel Rowan, and her son Heath Hugh Hicks, with grace and resilience that served as an inspiration to those fortunate enough to know her.

Renda Pfaff will be remembered not only for her radiant smile and laughter but also for the profound love she shared with her family and friends.
