Peggy Wright

Peggy J. Wright, 71, of Greenville, passed away Monday night, April 21, 2008 in Greenville Health & Rehab Center in Greenville. Mrs. Wright was born November 25, 1936 in Caddo Mills. Services will be held Friday, April 25, 2008 at 11:00AM at Ridgecrest Baptist Church. Visitation will be held Thursday evening from 6-8 PM at Peters Funeral Home. Peggy graduated from Caddo Mills School. She married Joe D. Wright in Caddo Mills on June 2, 1956. Peggy was the insurance secretary for Century 21 Pattersons Agency. She was very active in her church, Ridgecrest Baptist, where she sang in the choir for 35 years, cooked meals for the church youth camp, and taught 3 year olds in Sunday school. Survivors include her husband, Joe D. Wright of Greenville, daughter, Pam Wright of Greenville, sisters Patsy Morgan of Arkansas and Jonell Oliver of Greenville, brothers Bobby Wood of Greenville, Jerry Wood of Caddo Mills, and Larry Wood of Hawkins, sisters-in-law Cloe Talley of Mt. Vernon, Murl Baker of Mt. Pleasant, Etta Harvey and Marcella Wright both of Greenville, and numerous nieces, nephews, and friends. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Youth Fund of Ridgecrest Baptist Church, 6801 Wesley Street, Greenville, Texas 75402. Peters Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
