Patricia Minyard

A funeral service for Patricia June Minyard, 81, of Greenville will be held at Peters Funeral Home Chapel at 10:00 a.m., Saturday, June 7, 2014. Interment will follow at Shady Grove Cemetery, with Ronald Minyard, Randolph Minyard, Stephen Minyard, Nelda Minyard Moates, Michelle Minyard and Justin Minyard serving as pallbearers. Brandon Moore will serve as honorary pallbearer. Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m., Friday, June 6, 2014 at Peters Funeral Home. June passed away on Sunday, June 1, 2014 in Greenville,Texas. She was born in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma on June 6, 1932, the daughter of John Agnew and Beulah (Lassiter) Agnew. She married Oben Eugene Minyard in St. Louis Missouri on November 3, 1950. He preceded her in death in 2001. She was a retired nurse and she was of the Methodist faith. Survivors include: three sons, Ronald Minyard and wife, Madelene , Stephen Minyard, all of Greenville and Randolph Minyard and wife Pamela of Celeste; daughter, Nelda Minyard Moates and husband Donnie of Dumas; sister, Betty McAllister of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma; grandchildren, Michelle Minyard and Justin Minyard; great-grandchild, Megan Fade and numerous nieces, nephews and friends. She was also preceded in death by her parents: grandson, Aaron Minyard; as well as three brothers and two sisters.
