Orpha Newman

Orpha Bess Newman, 80, passed away January 15, 2012 in Greenville. She was born in Dallas County on May 1, 1931 to H.E. and Georgia Myers. She is survived by son Mike and Annette Newman of Greenville, daughter, Brenda Cook of Seattle Washington; four grandchildren, Jennifer Arden, Laura Bess Myers, Jeremy Nugent and Jody Nugent and four great grandchildren. Memorial services will be at 2 p.m. Saturday January 21, 2012 in the chapel of Peters Funeral Home with Charles Sheffield officiating. Funeral arrangements have been made through Peters Funeral Home.
