Norma Jean Hood, 72, passed away quietly on Sunday, August 5, 2012 at her home in Campbell, Texas surrounded by her family. Norma was born to John E. and Marie Lowry on March 25, 1940 in San Diego, California. Norma worked for several years for the Greenville ISD as a food preparer in several of the local schools. She loved her family deeply and always enjoyed the time she spent with her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She will truly be missed. Norma is preceded in death by her Parents, John and Marie, four brothers, three sisters and one great-grandchild, Julian Mitchell. Those left to celebrate her life include her husband, Fred Hood; son Gary Williams; daughters Tere Williams and her husband Tommy Mitchell and Kristi Williams Moore; grandson Skyler Williams and his wife Julie Pedersen; granddaughter Shawntay Skjoldager and her husband Niels; great-grandchildren Trey Geltmeier, Syrenedie Pedersen, Dalyse Williams and Jayson Williams; one brother and two sisters; as well as a host of extended family and friends. At this time, no services are scheduled. A private family memorial will be held at a later date.
