In loving memory of Nathan Robert Stevenson. Nathan was a sincere, kind, and loving son, and an amazing brother, nephew, cousin, and loyal friend. He was a blessing to everyone who knew him. He was a joy to be around. His smile and laugh were infectious and lit up any room. There was never a dull moment. His cousins and family agreed he was the goofiest person ever. Nathan joined our Heavenly Father and other loved ones in heaven on October 18, 2024, leaving us with his creations, stories, and wonderful memories.
Nathan was beautifully innocent and saw the world from a different perspective. He was creative in ways that can only be called a true gift from God. Everyone wanted to be in his presence to enjoy his humor, creativity, and imagination. His love extended beyond his family, touching the lives of everyone who had the privilege of knowing him. And when looking back at favorite moments and memories, there are too many favorites to mention in such a short time. But watching him go from a shy and reserved boy into the remarkable, confident, and unique young man he became was a blessing.
Nathan’s hobbies included sketching, writing stories, music, movies, and playing video games with his cousins, and friends. As a young child, he enjoyed playing the piano and creating his own music. As Nathan got older, his talents expanded greatly in drawing. When Nathan got a new idea for a character for his stories, it was an inspiration for a new sketch. His imagination influenced the design of unique outfits for his characters and inspired him to learn leather smithing to create wearable clothing inspired by his sketches. Nathan also liked photography and filmmaking. Nathan and his cousins also created various stop motion and recreations of original movies throughout his short time with us.
As many of you know, Nathan was an extremely talented and creative artist. His works of art have yet to be discovered and displayed for the masses to be amazed by the genius talent that his family and friends have experienced. With a broken heart, however, the remainder of Nathan’s stories, sketches, and creations will not be completed as his life ended way too soon.
