Mickey White, age 75, of Greenville, passed away in the afternoon hours of Monday, July 14, 2008 at the Presbyterian Hospital of Greenville. Mr. White was born in Greenville on April 3, 1933 to C.M. and Lillian White. They precede him in death. Mickey was educated in the Greenville schools and was an avid football fan of the Greenville Lions and the Texas Longhorns. He was very knowledgeable of all sports statistics and was very proud that he was always gainfully employed. Throughout his life he worked for the Dr. Pepper Bottling Company, Williams Bit and Tool Co, Henson Manufacturing Co, and finally retired as a custodian at Walmart. He was a long time active member of the Park Street Baptist Church and the Mens Sunday School Class. Mr. White was also a member of the Knights of Pythias of the Greenville Banner Lodge. He is survived by his cousins, Shirley Helton, of Forney, Frances Long, of Greenville, Bill Husbands, of Commerce, Charles Husbands, of Sulphur Springs, Pat Martin, of Ft. Worth, Bill Douglas, of Troup, Freida Perry, of Bremen, GA., Nelda Joye Camp, of Greenville, Sandra Oden, of DeBerry, Bonita Willis, of Ft. Worth, Thurman White, of Greenville, Donnie Sikes, of Greenville, Jean Green, of Greenville, Frances Dell White, of Greenville, and Gary White, of Greenville.
