Michele Rey Mauldin, a beloved homemaker and devoted family woman, passed away on January 7, 2024, surrounded by her loved ones in Dallas, Texas. She was born on January 20, 1963, to parents Raymond Dale and Christine Hatfield.

Michele was known for her warm and inviting personality that made everyone feel at ease in her presence. She had a kind heart and was always ready to lend a ear to listen. Her genuine care and compassion were evident in every interaction she had with others.

One of Michele's greatest joys in life was spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren. She treasured the moments shared with them, cherishing every laugh, smile, and milestone. Michele also had a special place in her heart for her dogs, whose loyal companionship brought her immense joy.

As a homemaker, Michele took pride in creating a loving and nurturing environment for her family. Her love overflowed into every corner of their lives. She will be remembered as an exceptional mother to Katie Mauldin and Travis "Bubba" Mauldin, who held a special place in Michele's heart. She also welcomed a beloved daughter in law, Lauren Mauldin and son in law with James Felts joining the family. 

Her role as a grandmother brought Michele immeasurable happiness. Emberlee Young, Delaney Hagerich, Khloe Mauldin, Hunter Mauldin, and Aubrey Felts were lucky to have been showered with the love and affection of such a doting grandmother.

Michele's proudest accomplishments revolved around being a mother and grandmother. Her dedication to her family knew no bounds. She reveled in their successes and supported them through challenges. Her legacy will live on through the strong bonds she cultivated within her family.

She is survived by her husband Travis Mauldin Sr., who stood alongside her during their journey through life. Their love was an unwavering force that brought them happiness and stability.

Michele is also survived by her sister Ola Alvarez, who shared a deep bond with her. The laughter and sisterly love they shared will forever echo in the hearts of those who knew them. Michele was preceded in death by her parents, Raymond Dale and Christine Hatfield, as well as her brother-in-law Robert Alvarez, brother-in-law David Mauldin, sister Marie Dale, brother-in-law Larry Key, and nephew Shawn Santana.

The impact Michele had on the lives of those around her transcends words. She possessed a rare ability to create lasting memories and make everyone feel loved and valued. Her absence will be deeply felt by family, friends, and all who had the privilege of knowing her.
