Michele Griffis

Michele DeAnn Griffis passed away June 18, 2012 in Greenville Texas with her family by her side. She was born September 9, 1966 in Monroe Michigan to Philip and Lillian Cole Haynes. She is survived by her husband Greg Griffis; daughters Nikki Daugherty of Lewisville, and Samantha Slovak and husband Brandon of Ennis; son Tommy Daugherty of Kileen; stepson, Jag Griffis of Greenville; father Philip Haynes and stepmother Ruby Haynes of Greenville; Mother in-law Sammie Griffis of Greenville; Brothers, Mickey Haynes and wife Carmen of North Richland Hills, Doug Haynes and wife Marina of Greenville, and David Haynes of Greenville: granddaughters, Journie Slovak of Ennis and Presleigh Daugherty of Lewisville. She is preceded in death by her mother Lillian Haynes, father in-law Stanley Griffis, and mother in-law Hazel Daugherty. A gathering of family and friends will be held at Peters Funeral Home Tuesday June 19, 2012 from 6-8 pm. A celebration of her life will be held Wednesday June 20, 2012 at 10 am. Interment will be shortly after at Hogeye Cemetery in Celeste, TX.
