With an Associates Degree in Computers and a background in the United States Air Force where he served for 5 years, rising to the rank of Sergeant and specializing in Avionics and Radar Navigation Systems, Michael's professional journey was marked by excellence and commitment.
A man of many passions, Michael found solace and joy in capturing the beauty of still life, animals, and nature through his photography. His love for Harley Davidson motorcycles took him on thrilling adventures, while his visits to military sites and bases showcased his deep-rooted respect for service. A familiar face at the gun range, Michael enjoyed these unique hobbies alongside his favorite tunes from artists like Elton John, Michael Jackson, and Bill Withers.
However, beyond his professional accomplishments and hobbies lay Michael's true pride - the graduation of his four beloved daughters. His analytical mind, financial discipline, and strong Catholic faith guided him through life's milestones as he tirelessly cared for others through both his time and generosity.
During family vacations to Washington D.C. and New York City, Michael reveled in witnessing historical sites with his loved ones. The birth of his grandchildren brought immense joy to his family as they shared precious moments together celebrating each other's successes as well as enduring challenges with grace.
Michael is survived by his loving wife Irene Lehr; daughters Amy Oland, Penny Codemo, Amanda Kendall, BreAnn Lehr; grandchildren Alexa Espino, Olivia Kendall, Liam Kendall, Bella Lawthorn, Abby Lawthorn, Wyatt Codemo and Max Milliron; nephew Matthew Lovrine; niece Marie Lehr; brother Mitchel Lehr; sister-in-law Lynn Lehr. He is predeceased by his father Charles S. Lehr and mother Joane E. Lehr.
