Michael Bearden

A funeral service for Michael Bearden, age 52, of Greenville, will be conducted at Peters Funeral Home Chapel, Monday, September 8. 2014 at 2:00 pm with Harlan Bearden officiating. Interment will follow at Hogeye Cemetery in Celeste, TX. Visitation will be held from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., Sunday, September 7, 2014 at the funeral home. Michael Bearden passed away Thursday, September 4, 2014 at his residence. He was born April 8, 1962, in Rockwall, TX, the son of Billy Bearden and Wanda Pippin Bearden. He married Shirley Phillips at Kingston, TX on August 6, 1983; she survives. He was a truck driver. Other survivors include: his mother, Wanda Bearden of Kingston, TX; son, Harlan Bearden of Greenville, TX; daughter, Misty Thomas of Kingston, TX; three sisters, Bobbi Pyles, Peggy McDowell and Sandra Satterwhite; two brothers, Billy Bearden and Jerry Bearden; grandsons, Ethan Thomas and Brayden Bearden; godson, Matthew Biggs and close family friend, Janeen Biggs. He was preceded in death by his father, Billy Bearden; brother Michael Wayne Bearden; grandson, Seth Pryor and grandchild, Baby Bearden.
