Mary graduated from Cleveland High School and went on to pursue her dream of becoming a Respiratory Therapist, a career she took great pride in. Throughout her time at the hospital, she found her calling in working with newborns, a cherished memory that defined her professional life and allowed her to impact families during their most vulnerable moments.
Her vibrant personality and infectious laugh were hallmarks of her character. Friends and family will fondly remember the sound of Mary singing gospel songs while cooking in the kitchen, her heart seemingly pouring into every note. She had an extraordinary gift for making everyone feel welcomed, greeting them with the brightest smile and the warmest hugs imaginable. Mary’s quick wit and entertaining storytelling never failed to brighten gatherings; her humorous anecdotes often intertwined with valuable lessons that resonated with all who listened.
Mary's faith was a guiding force in her life. She was resolute in her devotion to God, always reading her Bible and sharing scriptures that uplifted those around her. The twinkle in her eye spoke volumes of her spirit, warming hearts and bringing joy to countless lives.
Mary's hobbies were as varied as her talents. She loved to crochet, read, tend to her plants and flowers, and fill the air with her gospel melodies. Each of these passions, much like her love for her family, cultivated a nurturing home where memories blossomed.
She is survived by her sister, Pat Roy; daughters, Mavis Hampton and Ruth Sheller; grandsons, Tim Davis, Philip Davis, and Daniel Sheller; granddaughter, Aimee Sheller; great-granddaughters, Abigail Davis, Zoe Davis, and Joy Rylee Sheller; and great-grandson, Steven Leebrado Sheller.
