Mary Geneva France, 72, of Cumby, passed away on Thursday, October 9, 2008 at her residence. Mary was born on October 3, 1936 in Terrell to Everett Earl and Noma Dell Harwell. Funeral services will be held at 1:00 P.M. on Saturday, October 11, 2008 in the Peters Funeral Home Chapel in Greenville with burial to follow at Friendship Cemetery in Cumby. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the funeral at the funeral home. Mrs. France is survived by 4 daughters; Linda France, Shelley Campbell and husband Kenneth, Sherry Dean, all of Cumby, and Sandra Tucker and husband James of Kilgore, 4 sons; David France and wife Barbara of Dike, Billy France and wife Mary of Commerce, Johnny France and wife Karen of Round Rock, and Martin France and wife Vicky of Cumby, numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren, 3 brothers; James Harwell of Cumby, Bobby Harwell of Coppell, and Jerry Harwell and wife Kathleen of Irving, and 2 sisters Pat Casebolt and husband Robert of Blue Ridge and Norma Bailey and husband Max of Bedford. She is preceded in death by her husband, William Rex France, her parents, 2 great-grandchildren, and 1 brother, Richard Harwell. Peters Funeral Home in Greenville is in charge of arrangements.
