Mary Brookshire

A Memorial service for Mary Ann Brookshire 81, of Commerce will be held at 2:00 P.M. on Saturday, January 15, 2022 at Shady Grove Baptist Church in Greenville.  Mary Ann passed away on Saturday, December 25, 2021 in Greenville.

She was born in West Palm Beach, FL to Ralph and Hermione Hollis.  She married Charles Robert Brookshire on June 14, 1958, in West Palm Beach, FL. Mary Ann loved being a wife and mother and enjoyed baking and decorating cakes as well as gingerbread houses.

She is survived by her husband, Charles Brookshire; son, Charles R. Brookshire, Jr.; daughter, Karen Sue May; grandsons, Cory Brookshire and Jon Brookshire; granddaughters, Candi Booth and Meagan May as well as numerous great grandchildren and nieces and nephews.

Mary Ann preceded in death by her parents, William Ralph and Hermione Hollis and her sister, Louise Hilliard.
