Marion Tullos

Marion W. Tullos, age 72, of Greenville, passed away in the early morning hours of Tuesday, November 18, 2008, at Greenville Health & Rehab. Mr. Tullos was a longtime resident of Harleton, Texas. He was born in Pennington, Texas to Reed and Faye Tullos; they both precede him in death. After graduation, Mr. Tullos served in the United States Air Force as an Airman II Class. Most people will remember him as a poet, a singer, and a song writer. Mr. Tullos is survived by two sisters, Elaine Welty of Georgetown, Texas, and Mary Ann Archer of Ore City, Texas; two brothers, Reed Wayne Tullos and George Tullos, both of Hallsville; step-mother, Mary E. Tullos; and numerous other relatives and friends. Private arrangements were handled through Peters Funeral Home. The family will have a memorial service to honor Mr. Tullos at a later date.
