Maria Vargas

Maria Alma Vargas, 28, of Greenville, passed away on Sunday, October 9, 2016 at her residence. Visitation will be Tuesday evening from 5:00pm to 7:00pm in the Peters Funeral Home Chapel. A service will be held on Wednesday morning at 10:00am at New Life at Lakeside Church with Pastor Carlos Mendoza officiating. Burial will be at the Hart cemetery following the service with Daniel Ibarra, Manuel Luna, Martin Castro, Angel Molina, Manuel Vargas, David Calderilla, Isaac Campos, and Jesse Molina serving as pallbearers.

Maria was born in Santa Cruz, Juuenfina Rosas, Mexico on August 20, 1988 to Tereso E.Vargas and Maria Hortencia Rodriguez.

Those left to cherish her memories are, her children Krystofer Daniel Gerardo-Vargas and Maria Kalinda Reyna Vargas-Gonzales; mother Maria Hortencia; brothers, Carlos Vargas and Manuel Vargas; sister Maria Magdalena Vargas; Aunt Belen Calderon; and nephews Jesse, Alexis, and Angel Molina and Anthony and Andrew Colbert. Maria was preceded in death by her father and grandfather Vicente Castro.
