Manuel Luna Rodriguez, born on April 11, 1961, in Salamanca, Mexico, bid farewell to this world on May 4, 2024, in Dallas, Texas. He was a man of powerful presence who embraced life with a love that was truly inspiring.
Throughout his life, Manuel found joy in the simplest of pleasures. Whether it was fishing by the serene, immersing himself in the melodies of music, or simply basking in the warmth of his beloved family's company, he cherished every moment.
One of Manuel greatest joys was undoubtedly spending time with his grandchildren, showing off his latest trinkets and creating precious memories that will forever be treasured. His vibrant personality touched the hearts of all who had the privilege of knowing him.
Manuel leaves behind a legacy of love and cherished memories. Among those who mourn his loss are his surviving family members and friends: Orfelinda Luna (wife), Zeferina Rodriguez Montenegro (mother), Joaquin Luna (brother), Hortencia Vargas (sister), Martin Castro (brother), Belen Calderon (sister), Juana Rodriguez (sister), Vicente Castro (brother), Jose Castro (brother), Noemi Trevino and Rene (daughter and son-in-law), Josie Luna (daughter), Rachel Torres and Mariano (daughter and son-in-law); (Grandchildren) Celeste Perez, Esperanza Perez, Estephanie Perez, Reyna Pettus, Madisyn Pettus, Alexander Pettus, Josue Torres, Maite Torres, Alma Vargas, Lupita Ibarra, Gael Gutierrez, as well as numerous great nieces and nephews.
In addition to his surviving loved ones, Manuel is reunited in eternity with his deceased family members and friends: Vicente Castro Sotelo (father), Alma Vargas (niece), Cayetano Rodriguez Montenegro (uncle), Margarita Razo (cousin), Carmen Razo (cousin). Their spirits now watch over those who remain on this earthly journey.
Manuel Luna Rodriguez will be remembered not for his departure from this world but for the love he shared and the memories he created. May his spirit find eternal peace as his memory lives on in the hearts of those who had the honor of knowing him.
Visitation will be held at Peters Funeral home on Wednesday ( May 8, 2024 ) from 6:00 PM - 8:00 PM.
A funeral service will be held on Thursday ( May 9, 2024 ) at 10:00 AM at Saint Williams Catholic Church in Greenville, Texas.
