Mable G. Whitney of Campbell, Texas, passed away in the early morning hours Wednesday, May 25, 2011 at her home, surrounded by her family. She was born and grew up in Marshall, Texas to James Lynnwood and Fannie (Wilson) Davis, they preceded her in death. Mable made her home and raised her family in Talco, Texas. She was preceded in death by the father of her children, Milton Whitney; a son, Charles Whitney, and a grandson, Chayne Whitney. Mable leaves a daughter, Lee Truelock and husband, Rick and son Eddie Whitney, all of Campbell, Texas; grandsons, Jimmie Milner and wife Kim of Greenville; Scotty Sugg, Grady L. Whitney of Avenger, Texas; six great -granddaughters Cory, Amy, Crystal, and Amber of Greenville and Elaina and Juliana Sugg of Perrysburg, Ohio. She is also survived by two great-great grandsons, Aiden James and Landyen Lee. Visitation and viewing will be from 6:00 to 8:00 P.M. on Friday, May 27,, 2011 at Peters Funeral Home of Greenville. Services will be held on Saturday, May 28th, 10:00 A.M. at Peters Funeral Home Chapel with burial to follow at Talco Cemetery in Talco, Texas. The family extends an invitation for everyone to attend.
