Lucas Mayfield

Lucas Wayne Mayfield, age 26, of Greenville, passed away on Tuesday, March 17, 2009 at his residence. Mr. Mayfield was born in Greenville, Texas to James William Mayfield, Jr. and Sherri Jean Fikes on February 3, 1983. He was a cook for Sonic. Mr. Mayfield is survived by his mother, Sherri Jean Fikes of Quinlan, sisters Randi Lea Mayfield and Kristen Michelle Ratcliff both of Greenville, grandparents Brooks & Shelba Fikes of Greenville and Jim & Ruby Burnett of Longview, niece Makayla Nicole Line of Greenville, uncles Brooks C. Fikes and Bryan Fikes, cousins Brooklyn Leeann, and Bradley Fikes of Greenville, Gary Fikes of Austin, Zoe Fikes of Dallas, and Cherie Pyrseski of Crumb, and a host of other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his father. A graveside service for Lucas will be held Saturday, March 21, 2009 at 2:00 P.M., at Memoryland in Greenville. Visitation has been scheduled for Mr. Mayfield Friday evening from 6 " 8 P.M. at Peters Funeral Home.
