Lloyd Darling

Lloyd Wayne Darling, age 62, residing in Greenville, Texas, entered the presence of his Lord and Savior on September 13, 2021.  Born in Hollywood, CA on April 8, 1959 to Robert and Joan Darling-Kyle.  Older brother to Charles and John Darling. Graduated from Garland High school in 1977. Served his Lord in bi-vocational ministry throughout his life, most recently at Faith Baptist Church in Princeton, TX in the children’s ministry.  He retired in May 2021 after over 35 years in the lawn and sprinkler industry.

He is survived by his wife of 14 years, Kathy Darling of Greenville, TX; daughter, April Jackson and husband Josh of Japan; son, Michael Darling and wife Katherine of Richardson, TX.; grandchildren, Hayleigh, Austin, Patrick, Frank, Seth, and Ellen; mother, Joan Darling-Kyle; brothers, Charles Darling and wife Jamie, and John Darling and wife Jennifer; step-children Shea Compton of Denton and Rebecca Compton of Carrollton, TX.; three nieces and a nephew.  He is preceded in death by father, Robert Darling, daughters Jessica and Jennifer Darling, and niece Rachel Ramer.

Memorial service to be held on Thursday, September 16th at 4PM at Faith Baptist Church located at 1306 N. 6th Street, Princeton, Texas.  In lieu of flowers, the family asks that you consider a contribution to the children’s ministry at Faith Baptist Church, where he loved serving and teaching kids about our Lord and Savior.
