Kent Cornell Davenport

Kent Cornell Davenport passed away at the age of 56 on June 21, 2024, in his beloved home with his wife by his side as well as their dear friend Andrea Rezac.

Interment: Will be held Tuesday, July 9, 2024 at 1:00 at DFW National Cemetery.

Kent Cornell Davenport was born on August 30, 1967 in Arlington, Texas, to Ray Ernest and Peggy Joyce Davenport. He served in the US Air Force, and was awarded the Airforce Outstanding Unit Award, Small Arms Expert Marksmanship and many others including Liquid Fuel Systems, which led him to a lifelong ( civilian ) career in the oil and gas and flow industry. 

Kent married Sandra Wall on December 7, 1991. That relationship led to many hobbies, such as; extensive traveling as well as being members of the Harley Club, to another phase of yachting on Lake Lewisville and Lake Texoma. He then wanted the country/ ranch life and had their home built ( where they currently live, on the 12 acres of land they had owned ) in 2020. Kent and Sandra did everything together until the end.

He is preceded in death by his parents.

Survivors: Wife ( of 32 years ) Sandra W. Davenport; Brothers; Lowell Davenport and wife, Susan; Andrew Davenport and sister Laura Davenport- Wade and husband Gerald; and numerous nieces and nephews. Along with numerous Brothers In Arms.
