Kenneth Lee Brandenburg, 72, passed away on January 27, 2025, in Royse City, Texas. Born on August 31, 1952, in Dallas, Texas, Kenneth lived a life filled with passion, creativity, and an unwavering love for his family and friends.

Kenneth attended Highland Park High School and Kaufman High School. From a young age, he displayed an innate talent for all things mechanical, a skill that would define much of his life's work. His keen eye for detail and aesthetics led him to successfully establish and operate Corvette Customs in Dallas, Texas, and Brandenburg Customs in multiple locations, including Caddo Mills. Through these businesses, Kenneth transformed ordinary vehicles into award-winning showpieces and provided expert repairs and restorations to those in need. His love for automobiles extended beyond business—he and his son built their own derby race car, earning numerous trophies over the years.

Beyond his professional accomplishments, Kenneth was a man of many talents and interests. A gifted woodworker and metalworker, he poured his creativity into intricate projects that amazed those around him. His passion for model building was unmatched—he constructed everything from cars and ships to an entire locomotive-powered town that filled his garage. "Brandenburg Town" became a source of joy not only for Kenneth but also for his children and family members who watched it evolve over the years.

Kenneth lived life in a big way. He loved deeply and supported those he cared about however he could. His two children, Kristie and James, were the center of his world, and he cherished every moment with them. His generosity knew no bounds; he had a huge heart for helping others and left a lasting impact on everyone who knew him. His ability to bring people together through his kindness, talent, and unwavering support made him truly unforgettable.

Kenneth is survived by his sisters, Barbara Law, Joan Brandenburg, and Juli Liar; brothers, William (Sharon) Brandenburg, and Bruce Brandenburg; daughter, Kristie Brandenburg (Jarrod) Morris; son, James Brandenburg; grandchildren, Reagan, Kenedi, and Caleb; as well as many cousins, numerous beloved nieces and nephews, and great-nieces and nephews who will forever adore him.
