Juanita Walker

Juanita Elizabeth Walker, age 86, of Greenville, passed away at her home on June 17, 2010 in Greenville. She was born on December 6, 1923 in Greenville to Jessie T. and Winnie Emma Cunningham Aday, they preceded her in death. After high school Juanita married Dewey Dale Walker and together they raised a family and created a lifetime of loving memories. He also preceded her in 2004 after more than 60 years of marriage. Ms. Walker was a homemaker throughout her life but served as secretary of the Sunday School Class at Westview United Methodist Church for over 20 years. She was a loving wife, mother, aunt and friend. Her caring nature and tender heart will be missed by those who knew and loved her. Ms. Walker is survived by two sons, Jerry Walker, and wife Katherine, of Carlsbad, CA and Michael Dean Walker of Virginia; sister, Billie Hassel of Greenville; 6 grandchildren and 19 great-grandchildren. Graveside services for Ms. Walker will be held at 11:00 A.M., Tuesday, June 22, 2010 at Memoryland Memorial Park with Pastor Greanade officiating.
