John Louis Kern

John L. Kern, age 74, of Lone Oak TX, passed away February 12th, 2023. His family will be holding a celebration of life at a later date.

John was born in Pheonix, AZ on February 29th, 1948. He was the youngest child of James Robert Kern and Betty Jean (Jones) Kern Rodruck. He was united in marriage to Patricia Beebe on December 12th, 1964. Together they had three children. He made a career in floor covering and Mill works. He had a love for pool playing, wood working, and Nascar.

John is survived by his wife Patty. Daughters Tammy Davis (Chris) Salem, IA, and Natalie Diaz (Enrique) Crawfordsville, IA, and a son John Kern Jr., Lone Oak, TX. Grandchildren: Timmy Woline, Tyler Woline, Taylor Woline, Austin Kern, Siby Diaz, Dallyn Kern. Six great-grandchildren, Brother Jim Kern, Sister Jean Enhorning, and numerous nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents and grandparents.
