John Curry

John T. “Bull” Curry Jr., age 90, of Greenville passed away on Wednesday evening, August 19, 2020. John was born on July 2, 1930 in McKinney, Texas, the son of John Thomas Curry Sr. and Mattie Zelma Proffitt. John honorably served in the United States Air Force during the Korean War. John married Betty Lou Oakley in McKinney, Texas on April 21, 1952. John was active member of Southside Church of Christ in Greenville, Texas.

John is survived by his wife Betty; sons, Charles Curry and wife Staci of Huntsville, Randell Curry and wife Betty of Greenville; grandchildren, Shecaire Curry of Greenville, Jesse Curry of Greenville; brothers, James Curry and wife Linda of Grand Prairie, Robert Curry and wife Maryann of Arizona; along with numerous friends and family.

John was preceded in death by his parents, John and Mattie; and son, Richard Curry.

Visitation will be held on Monday, August 24, 2020 from 11:00am to 1:30pm in Peters Funeral Home.

Graveside Service to follow at 2:00pm in Memoryland Memorial Park.
