Joe Andy Shields passed away April 26, 2017 in Denton County. He was born on July 23, 1951 in Meridian the son of Giles Leon Shields and Lula Bell Adkison Shields. He married Lana Staton September 18, 1971 in Iredell.
Those left to cherish his memory are his wife, Lana Shields; son Joe Ryan Shields (Mary); daughter, Jana Gayle Tadlock (Jasper); grandchildren, Carson, Kayla, and Colton; sisters, Patsy Owen and Jimmie Ramsey; brother, Hobby Shields; numerous nieces, nephews, and other family members.
He was preceded in death by his father, Giles Leon Shields; mother, Lulabell Patrick; and step-father, Billy Patrick.
Graveside services will be held at 10:00 am on Saturday, May 6, 2017 at Mitchell Cemetery in Iredell, Texas.
