James Mahlon Pattillo II

James Mahlon Pattillo II (Jimmy) was born on September 21, 1965, to James Pattillo I and Sandra Adams.

James didn’t like to be still and was always piddling with something; finding a way to fix almost anything. He never met a stranger and would give the shirt off his back to anyone who he thought might need it. His kind and welcoming nature touched the lives of all who had the pleasure of knowing him. James was also an avid “Trekkie”, and firmly believed that aliens existed, thanks to a certain Army veteran.

James married Becky Underwood on January 31, 1987. They were blessed with 3 children: Steven, Wesley and Lori. James was a member of the Honey Creek Baptist Church in Wolfe City.

James is survived by his wife Becky; children: Steven (Shannon) Pattillo; Wesley (Kristina) Pattillo; and Lori (Aaron) Stephens; grandchildren: Kobe, Harper, Emerson, and Autumn Pattillo; mother: Sandra Adams; brother: Douglas (Petra) Pattillo; Mark (Dallas) Gormon; sister, Gwen (Larry) McGowan; stepmother: Anita Pattillo; and a host of nieces and nephews, and close friends that he considered family.

James was preceded in death by his dad and his nephew Marc.

His service was held on July 29, 2023 at 10:00 AM
