Jack William Yingling, age 72, of Greenville, passed away in the morning hours of Monday, April, 5, 2010 at Royse City Health & Rehab in Royse City. He was born on February 9, 1938 in Lorraine, Ohio, to Cornelius Pete Phyllis Ashbolt Yingling, they preceded him in death. Jack married Katherine Ann in Houston, Texas on December 28, 1979 and together made a lifetime of memories, she survives. Jack would be best described as a jack of all trades . He worked in everything from the retail industry to the automotive industry and never shied away from travel. Jack spent countless hours on the shores of Galveston Bay fishing and teaching life lessons to his family. His one of a kind character, tireless craftsmanship, and love as a father and friend will be missed by all who knew him. Jack is survived by his wife; one son, Eric William Yingling, and daughter, Jaylyn Marie, of Greenville; step children, Carol Ann Hafertepe, of Dallas, Johnny O. Bushnell, of Greenville, Deborah Katherine Schneider, of Bailey, Michael S. Bushnell, of Rockwall, and Samuel Owen Bushnell, of Mesquite; brothers, Neil Yingling, of Amerst, OH, Keith Yingling, of Plano, and Gary Yingling, of Amerst, OH; 10 grandchildren, 8 great grandchildren, and numerous nieces, nephews, and friends. A visitation for Mr. Yingling will be held from 6 " 8 P.M., Wednesday, April 7, 2010 at Peters Funeral Home.
