Herman Blissard

Born February 9, 1917 in Cuthand, Texas to Madison Lee Blissard and Artie Mae Harville. He lived most of his childhood years in Cuthand, Texas; his adult life in Dallas, Greenville and Bogato and his final years in Pittsburg, Texas. He died at the age of 94 on November 19, 2011. He is survived by his three daughters: Patsy Lou Adkinson, Beverly Crowly and Carol Shattuck; nine grandchildren; Pamela Baker, Susan Bates, Brian Byrum, Michele Shattuck, Cynthia Meenach, Tiffany Mertens, David Shattuck, Michael Shattuck and Bryan Washburn Stephenson; twenty two great grandchildren, two great-great granddaughters, 2 nieces and 1 nephew. He is preceded in death by his wife Joyce, two daughters: Betty and Shirley, two grandchildren: Clifton and Cheryl and his sister, Lorene Kennedy.
