George Moreno

Graveside service for George Carrasco Moreno, age 67, of Greenville will be held at 1:00pm on January 5th, 2022 at Oakland Cemetery in Terrell, TX. Pastor Butch Bruton will be presiding.  Mr. Moreno passed away on Sunday, January 2, 2022 at Hunt Regional Hospital in Greenville TX.

George was born on February 26th, 1954 in Amarillo, TX to Jesus Moreno Sr. and Celestina Moreno.  He married Linda Roark July, 1978, in Dallas, TX. George retired recently from the City of Garland where he worked in the water utilities department. George was a hard working and great man his entire life, anyone that knew him loved him. He was a father and a hero. He loved our Lord Jesus and is now reunited with his wife and others that have already gone on to paradise. He will be missed greatly. Fly high dad. But those who wait upon the LORD will renew their strength; they will mount up with wings like eagles; they will run and not grow weary, they will walk and not faint. - Isaiah 40:31

He is survived by his sons, Nathan Moreno and wife, Kristi Moreno, of Greenville, Texas, Kenneth Wright and wife, Sheryl Wright of Greenville, Texas; grandchildren, Ashlynn Moreno, Alexys Moreno, Bryan Wright, Richey Wilkins, Xavier Bickle, Tristian Wright, Jacob Wright; two great grandchildren; sister Carol Olivas, numerous nieces and nephews and family in Amarillo, Texas who love him greatly.

George was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Linda; brothers, Jesus and Mario.
