Gary Hale

Gary Wayne Hale, 69, of Greenville passed away Wednesday, February 24, 2016 in Park Haven Nursing and Rehabilitation. Cremation arrangements are under the direction of Peters Funeral Home. Memorial services will be scheduled at a later date.

Gary was born November 8, 1946 in Decatur, Texas to Sim Hale and . He married Amy Miller June 11, 2002 in Decatur. He was taught at a young age to operate heavy equipment and did that for several years. He became a Police Officer and worked in law enforcement for several different agencies. He also worked as a computer programmer but his biggest love later in life was working and selling at the local flea markets. Getting to meet people, visiting and making people smile was his specialty.

those left to cherish his memory are his loving wife of 13 years Amy hale of Greenville; daughter mary Lilienstern and husband Geoff of Savannah, TX; grandchild Grayson Lilienstern; sister Dorothy Atherton of Ft. Worth. Gary was preceded in death by his parents; son John Hale; sister Virginia Hale.
