Floretts Hamberlin Bench was born on October 15, 1928 in Kelsey, Texas to Moroni and Cornelia Hamberlin. She died on December 16, 2020. She was a member of the Royse City Ward and Heath Stake of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints.
She was preceded in death by her parents: Moroni and Cornelia Hamberlin, her husband Arvel Eugene Bench and her brother Earnest C (Sonny) Hamberlin.
She is survived by her daughter Donna L. Dillion, Granddaughter Sandi L. Walker, Grandson Jason Walker and Great-granddaughter Jillian Walker. She is also survived by her brother Keith A. Hamberlin and his wife Beth. Also her other "daughter" Linda Braswell.
She is also survived by many nieces and nephews: Glenda Fischtziur, Jeff and Janice Lima, David and Janet Smith, Gale Bennett, Larry Hamerlin, Sonny and Michelle Gerry and several other great nieces and nephews.
Born in Kelsey, Texas and attended a church school in Kelsey for the first seven years: Graduated Gilmer High School: attended college at Texas Women's University in Denton and Tyler Commercial College.
Lived in the Dallas Metroplex during working years of adult life and retires as an Officer and Director of Presidential Life Insurance Company in 1992. Moved to Greenville after retirement then moved to Fate, Texas and lived there for the last 10 years of her life.
