Flora Mae Graham

Celebration of Life for Flora Mae Graham, 91, of Seagoville, Tx will be held at 11:00 A.M. on Wednesday, June 22, 2022, at Peters Funeral Home Chapel. Visitation will be Tuesday, June 21, 2022, 6:00 – 8:00 P.M.

Flora was born on September 22, 1930, in DeRidder, Louisiana to Leondus Moses and Gladys Houk Moses. She married Aubrey Lynn Graham December 1950, In DeRidder, Louisiana.

She is survived by her daughters; Jawana Williams (Dwight) of Dallas, Tx, Decah Lipscomb (Darryl) of Edmond, OK, Telia Carman (Clyde) of Seagoville, Tx, Kimberly Clipp (Cliff) of Forney, Tx, Paula Danielle Houston (Andrew) of Northport, AL.

Flora Mae was preceded in death by her husband Aubrey Lynn Graham, son, Thomas Graham and her parents, Leondus & Gladys Moses and three siblings, Evelyn Reeves, Tubby Moses, and Stanley Moses.

She was mother to 6 children, 20 grandchildren, 16 great grandchildren and multiple great great grandchildren. Some called her Mother, Grandma, Aunt, friend and wife. Her cooking was the best, and she fed many family meals to whoever showed up. She was an excellent seamstress and sewed many prom dresses, wedding dresses and fur coats. She worked until she was 82, at which time she finally retired.

You never wanted to meet her in a bowling alley, or on the checkerboard, she showed no mercy. She was never without a smile, and she never said a bad word about anybody. She was an inspiration to all who knew her. She’s at peace and a celebration of her life will not end with a funeral.
