Faye Woodson

Memorial service for Faye Nell Woodson, age 88, of Farmersville will be held at 11:00 A.M. on Monday, December 27, 2021 at Peters Funeral Home with Chaplin Mike Middlebrook officiating. Faye passed away on Wednesday, December 22, 2021 at Lexington Medical Lodge, Farmersville.

Faye was born on February 12, 1933 in Royce City, TX to Homar and Annie Samples.  She married James Edward March 8, 1952. Faye was a baker for many years at Mary Puddin Hill in Greenville.

She is survived by her sisters, Ida Stracner, Glenda Cooper and husband Cass; children, Mary Strickland and husband Ric, James Ray and wife Gloria, Donna Burdette and husband Richard; grandchildren, Zack and wife Jackie, James and wife Carmen, Matt, Sam, Chris and wife Natalee, Amanda and husband Brad; great grandchildren, Kobe, Bella, Cali, Drew, Camryn, Jocelyn, Eli, Haden, Joshua, Colton, Jaxon, and Emma, and several nieces and nephews.

Faye was preceded in death by her parents, Homar and Annie Samples; sister, Ruby Pritchett, and her brothers, Donald, Thomas, Eugene, Roger, Troy, and Roy.

Arrangements are under the direction of Peters Funeral Home, Greenville, TX.
