Elizabeth Josephine Willaby, age 91, of Campbell, passed away in the early morning hours of Wednesday, September 29, 2010 at the Hunt Regional Community Hospital of Commerce. She was born on October 10, 1918 in Piedmont, Missouri to Oscar Dillard and Annie May Jones Warren. They preceded her in death. She worked as a nurse where compassion and love eased the pain and worries of those in her care. In her free time, Elizabeth loved to cook for people, tend to her flowers and sew but her greatest source of pride came from her family. Her big heart and tireless care will leave memories in the minds of those she knew and loved. She is survived by children, Bill Kinworthy of Illinois, John C. Willaby, Jr., and wife Stella, of Gulf Breeze, Florida, Tony Willaby, and wife Brenda, of Campbell, and Patricia Stoker of Fasteria, Ohio and numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren, and great-great grandchildren. She was also preceded in death by husbands John Willaby and Raymond Spruill and three children, Gerald Kinworthy, Jack Kinworthy, and Michael Charles Kinworthy. Services for Ms. Willaby will be held at 2:00 P.M., Friday, October 1, 2010 at Peters Funeral Home with Pastor Jim Walden officiating. Burial will follow at Brigham Cemetery near Campbell with Randy Kinworthy, Ronnie Kinworthy, Dalton Krodle, Devon Walden, Greg Willaby, and Shaun Worley serving as pallbearers. Visitation will be from 6 " 8 P.M. Thursday evening at the funeral home.
