Elizabeth Posey

Elizabeth Ann Posey, 48, passed away suddenly on Wednesday, February 29, 2012 in Plano, Texas. Elizabeth was born February 19, 1964 to Bobbie and Tommie Posey in Fairbanks, Alaska. She was the youngest of five daughters born to this family. Elizabeth was a free spirit; a lover of animals and children and loved by all who met her. Her smile was infectious and her heart was always open to anyone in need. She was a member of the YMCA in Greenville and an avid bridge player; as well as a member of the Red Hat Society. She will truly be missed. Those left to celebrate her life include her parents; Bobbie and Tommie Posey; her sisters, Dianna and her husband Robert McDonald, Darlene and her husband Bradley Walsh, Donna and her husband Gary Cossey and Deborah Posey; as well as numerous uncles, aunts, nieces, nephews and a host of friends. A gather of family and friends will be held on Sunday, March 4, 2012 from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at Peters Funeral Home. A funeral service will follow on Monday, March 5, 2012 at 10:00 a.m. at the funeral home. Interment will be at Celeste Cemetery immediately following the service.
