Throughout his life, Elijah embraced various interests and hobbies. From in-line skating to racing his car, he found joy in the thrill of these activities. Additionally, he had a passion for travel and scuba diving, which allowed him to explore new and exciting places.

Born into a loving family, Elijah was the beloved son of Howard William and Evelyn Bailey. He leaves behind a fiancé, Janet Acosta, who stood by his side through thick and thin. He is also survived by his children Ava and Aiden Bailey and his sister, Toni Bailey.

He is preceded in death by his father, Howard William Bailey.

Elijah's dedication to serving and protecting others was evident throughout his career as a law enforcement officer. With unwavering commitment, he ensured the safety of the communities he served in both Texas and Arizona. His selflessness earned him the respect and admiration of his colleagues and community members alike.
